Ultimate Smores Dessert

Just a really quick post for today, Pinter-Testers!

I sent out the above picture on Instagram and Facebook the other day, and one of my friends said that it was the most delicious picture I’ve ever taken! I have to agree – but the picture is nothing compared to the real thing!

I told my friend that it was the s’mores dessert from Joe’s Crab Shack, and she lamented that there wasn’t a Joe’s Crab Shack anywhere near where she lives in the rural mountains of Pennsylvania. Even here, where we’re near the beach, you have to drive downtown to get this sweet treat.

Luckily, this dessert would be EXTREMELY easy to make at home. You could even make in a cake pan for a s’mores dessert that would please a whole party! If you want something a little less mess, try out these s’mores bars. But for now, here’s the quick recipe for the Ultimate S’mores Dessert:

Ultimate S’mores Dessert

This is a recipe meant to share! The gooey marshmallows, crispy graham crackers, and melted chocolate will bring you right back to those evenings around a campfire as a kid, and the chocolate brownie takes things to another level.


  • 3 graham crackers
  • 1 large brownie
  • 1 Hershey's chocolate bar
  • 6 marshmallows
  • chocolate syrup


  1. In an oven safe pan, place 2 graham crackers.
  2. Add a dollop of chocolate syrup as "glue" and set brownie on top.
  3. Add another dollop of chocolate syrup and place third graham cracker and chocolate bar on top of brownie.
  4. Cover with marshmallows, using chocolate syrup to secure if necessary.
  5. Stick under the broiler for 3-5 minutes or until marshmallows are puffed and toasted.
  6. Drizzle with more chocolate syrup.

This is one you’re going to want to share! For a fun twist on this recipe, instead of a boring boxed brownie mix, try these decadent dark chocolate brownies or these caramel brownies. Make sure you serve this one with a tall glass of milk – and plan to share with a friend (or two or three), because it is REALLY rich!

  1. I love s’mores and this is a perfect way to make them without the charcoal/fire. I am afraid my hips are not going to be thankful that I found this recipe.
