Have you tried our mom Sharon’s Chocolate Pudding Cookies from last month? We’ve made those cookies several times since then and they never last long! So when I found a recipe for a peanut butter pudding cookie I wanted to test it out right away.
Special thanks to Michael Wurm, Jr. for pinning this so it showed up in my feed, and to Jocelyn for originally pinning the recipe from Bru Crew Life.
After testing these cookies out, I’ve decided that any cookie recipe the includes pudding is worth testing out! Plus these cookies have Reese’s Pieces in them, which automatically makes them delicious if you ask me.
You need these ingredients:
It looks like a lot of ingredients, but don’t fear, dear reader. It’s really not that complicated.
Cream together the butter, peanut butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add vanilla, eggs, and honey and mix together.
Combine dry ingredients (flour, pudding mix, baking soda, and salt) separately. Slowly mix dry ingredients into creamed mixture, but do not over mix. Stir in chocolate chips and reeses pieces by hand.
The original recipe also called for banana chips (eww…) but left them out. If you like banana, go ahead and stir those in by hand as well.
Drop cookies by the tablespoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Let cool on the cookie sheet for a minute or two before removing.
Wait for them to cool enough so you don’t burn your tongue and enjoy! Try to remember to chew as you gobble down these cookies.
