If you like to make cookies, here is a fancy cookie cup that isn’t hard to make but looks like you slaved away making it. The cookie uses three kinds of chocolate, (unsweetened cocoa powder, Lindt CLASSIC RECIPE milk chocolate and Lindt LINDOR truffles). Add this recipe to you cookie plates that you make up for the holidays.
When I came across a version of this recipe from Easy Baked on Pinterest, my mouth was watering before I even read the recipe. So, I crossed my fingers that they’d be as good as they looked!
My daughter Jessica and I decided to have a baking day a few weeks ago to taste-test some recipes for #Choctoberfest, and just to spend a little time together. We made these cookie cups and both agreed that they were delicious, but very decadent. Our family loves to spend time together in the kitchen!
In fact, later this month, I am planning to do some canning with my mother (we posted her brownie recipe last week). She recently fell and had to get several stitches in her leg, plus we had a dry end to summer, so her cucumbers and cauliflower didn’t do well this year… so we weren’t going to make chow-chow this year.
But then I couldn’t resist getting some supplies at the farmer’s market this week, and when I told her, she also couldn’t resist making plans to come over and help out (even though I’m going to make her spend most of the time sitting down for once in her life).
Anyway, these cookie cups turned out wonderful. You get three kinds of chocolate in each bite, and there are lots of different combinations to try, since Lindt makes several flavors of LINDOR truffles. So many possibilities to fill these chocolate cups!
It’s not to early to decide what kind of cookies to make for your holiday gift giving or parties. Start making your list now!
In the meantime take a break and have some chocolate. Lindt CLASSIC RECIPE is so yummy that you’ll want to eat it straight from the package. Lindt sent us some chocolate last week for #Choctoberfest, and we’ve definitely been enjoying the leftovers after making these cookie cups and the white-chocolate filled doughnut poppers Jess posted last week.
Here’s the recipe! Looking for even more cookie recipes for this holiday season? Here are some of our favorites.
