This year, Chef Shamy was one of our delicious #CookoutWeek sponsors. Well, let me tell you, I am still enjoying their yummy flavored butters on pretty much everything. Thank goodness their butter comes in huge tubs!
We were grilling recently and I wanted something sweet for dessert. But of course it has been so hot that I haven’t felt like turning on the oven. So, I took decided that a semi-homemade dish would be perfect.
If you have a pound cake recipe you love, I encourage you to use it! But let me be honest with you… I bought some at the grocery store!
The apples on top pair perfectly with Chef Shamy’s vanilla bean honey butter. I whipped up some homemade cream for on top, to cut the rich butty flavor. It’s the perfect way the end a summer meal.
Thanks, Chef Shamy, for sending over vanilla bean honey butter for #CookoutWeek last month. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!
