Savory Cheese Truffles

A savory appetizer to serve at your next party with your favorite cracker and white wine.
  • 1 (8-ounce) package of reduced fat softened cream cheese
  • 1 (6-ounce) package of softened goat cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Traminette Wine (dry white wine) or lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoons minced fresh chives
  • 2 teaspoons jarred roasted minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • ½ cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
  1. Beat the cream cheese, goat cheese and wine with a mixer until smooth.
  2. Add the chives, garlic and black pepper. Stir by hand until well mixed.
  3. Cover and chill at 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  4. Mix the parsley and pecans in a bowl.
  5. Roll cheese mixture into 1" balls and roll each ball in pecan and parsley mixture.
  6. Cover and chill at least 1 hour.
  7. Serve with your favorite crackers and dry white wine.
