15+ Chocolate Recipes that Use Your Stand Mixer

My KitchenAid stand mixer hasn’t been getting enough use lately! If it’s going to take up that much counter space, it needs to pull a little more weight around here. So, I decided to compile a list of delicious chocolate recipes that use a stand mixer (thanks to some help from a few blogger friends).

Now, if you don’t have a stand mixer, KitchenAid or otherwise, you can use a hand mixer for most of these recipes. Heck, you can even use a little elbow grease with a whisk for some of them! But having a stand mixer definitely comes in hand. Luckily for you, we are giving one away. You can enter our #Choctoberfest giveaway here.

Chocolate Brown Sugar Bundt Cake with Cheesecake Swirl from Linda at 2 Cookin’ Mamas

This previous #Choctoberfest recipe looks so cute without a lot of extra work! Linda describes it as, “the rich taste of dark chocolate and creamy, tangy cheesecake and a hint of smooth white chocolate.”

Easy Molten Chocolate Cupcakes from Linda at 2 Cookin’ Mamas

Another entry from Linda, but this one in cupcake form. These cupcakes even freeze well, unlike most frosted cupcakes which don’t hold up as great in the freezer.

Cream the butter and sugar for these delightful Halloween cookies in your stand mixer and you’ll get a perfect consistency. For a non-Halloween version, just skip the eyeballs.

I’m a big fan of boozy desserts. This cake is super easy to make with your stand mixer: just dump in the ingredients and let it whirl! Like Sue notes, you can totally use a hand mixer as well if you don’t have a stand mixer, but with a stand mixer your hands are free to multi-task.
